Castelo Branco Cultural Exploration

This project celebrates the cultural heritage of Castelo Branco through bespoke illustrated wallpapers inspired by traditional silk embroidery,iconic animals, and symbolic motifs like the rooster of Barcelos, swallows, storks, carnations, iconic blue tiles, historical landmarks, and folkloric clothing. Each design features meticulously hand-drawn motifs that are digitized and transformed into seamless patterns, reflecting the intricate beauty and vibrant spirit of these traditional elements. The wallpapers capture the essence of Castelo Branco’s unique flora, fauna, and architectural and cultural treasures. Enhanced with foil and puff binder accents, these creations offer a visually stunning and tactile experience, fostering a deep appreciation for the region’s artistic and cultural legacy.
